And then hobby. My hobbies are things that no one pays me money for but bring me JOY.

And in the book, Atomic Habits, James Clear writes, “When you focus on one thing every day for one full year you will be 37% better at the thing you were consistent with every single day.”

If you put yoga in your body every single day, for 365 days you will be 37% better at yoga in April 2026. But what does that mean?

From my perspective, you’ve been breathing since birth and you’re had your body for just as long. Now, your brain chemistry was doped to you by your experiences of your past and if you’re over 30 years old your brain is fully developed and you have an incredible amount of memories to pull from.

So right now - as I update you on my hobbies - I am practicing for karaoke. And I’m singing out loud. And I have no idea how I sound. But sometimes when I sing karaoke in real life I don’t know how I sound either. Karaoke isn’t about sounding like them. The person that made the money. Karaoke is about sounding like you. Because you love the song you are singing.


I have hosted retreats in my past. I am not currently inside a present retreat. And I have retreats in my future.
